We require a skilled mid-level 3D CAD Modeler who will be instrumental in supporting our mission-critical systems for the U.S. Navy. As a pivotal team member, your expertise will be crucial in supporting In-Service Engineering projects. You can work on a complex array of NAVSEA capabilities in this role. You will provide and deliver developmental design drawings, models, and hardware lists to support these critical systems. Additionally, you will contribute to design efforts by building and delivering fixtures and equipment prototypes for NAVSEA capabilities for proof of concept, evaluation, and testing. Using your 3D CAD skills, you will create models to update U.S. Navy Technical Manuals.
As a 3D CAD Modeler, you will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including the government Technical Data Manager, Manual Manager, In-Service Engineering Agent, Project Manager, and Original Equipment Manager, to ensure the successful execution of these projects.

Responsibilities:

Utilize engineering principles to develop and refine 3D models for complex mechanical systems.

Participate in creating design drawings and detailed models, integrating feedback from project stakeholders.

Assist in prototype development and testing, applying engineering knowledge to enhance design efficiency and product functionality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet engineering standards and project specifications.

Continuously learn and apply new technologies and software tools in 3D modeling to maintain industry-leading expertise.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship

The ability to obtain and hold a security clearance at the Secret level.

Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, aerospace, or related), a fundamental qualification for this role, is required.

2+ years of experience in 3D modeling, including internships or university projects.

Proficiency in CAD software such as SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, or Dassault Systèmes tools.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply engineering concepts to practical applications.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with an ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
