Position Summary:
Performs operations, maintenance and cybersecurity on most simulator equipment.

- DoD SECRET Security Clearance.
- Security + CE Certification Required Upon Hire
Experience:
- Three (3) years of Cybersecurity (CS) experience in secure network and system analysis, procedure/test generation, test execution and implementation of computer/network security mechanisms.
- Minimum of DOD Approved Baseline Certification as Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II in accordance with DOD 8570.01-M (i.e. CompTIA Security+ or equivalent).
- Expert knowledge in all IAT I functions.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience using and installing networking equipment such as switches, routers and firewalls.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with system patching and IA vulnerability alerts (IAVA), IA vulnerability bulletins (IAVB), and technical advisories (TA).
- Within six (6) months of assignment, complete Government sponsored training on the DoD Enterprise Security Solution (ESS) and the DoD Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and be able to assist Government IA personnel in the configuration and sustainment of ESS, and able to execute and analyze vulnerability scans upon request by Government IA personnel.
Education:
- High School Graduate
- Graduated from a two-year electronic technician resident course at an accredited technical institute or the equivalent a "Plus".
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains trainee, instructor, and monitoring stations.

- Instructor/student assistance
- Analyze discrepancies/determine corrective actions
- The SA/IAT II duties and responsibilities include but are not limited the following:
- Perform CS continuous monitoring tasks and associated analysis to maintain the CS posture of training system environments, networks and enclaves.
- Perform hardware and software installation in a client/server environment.
- Support, monitor, test and troubleshoot hardware and software CS problems.
- Provide end user support for all IA related applications.
- Perform routine maintenance, to include diagnostic testing and optimization.
- Coordinate and implement software backup and antivirus requirements.
- Perform scheduled CS specific preventive maintenance of computer systems and network components.
- Coordinate CS/ATO requirements with Government Cybersecurity/IA personnel, including the ISSM, ISSO, ISEO, and COR.
