Position Overview for the Learning Services Specialist:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Services Specialist to join our
team. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with kids (7th grade and older), have a strong background in education, instructional design, classroom instructions, and learning and development.
*The Learning Services Specialist must have a minimum of 2 YEARS OF CLASSROOM TEACHING experience.*
- Candidates should be organized and have experience working with neuroatypical learners, especially with ADHD learning.
- This role will involve collaborating with various professionals in the life of the child to design, develop, and deliver learning solutions that meet the needs of our organization and our clients.
- Candidates should be comfortable networking and marketing in the community as well. Comfort with presenting at schools is a plus!
Key Responsibilities for the Learning Services Specialist:
- Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to assess learning needs and develop learning objectives.
- Assist with standardized test prep for neuroatypical learners.
- Design and develop engaging learning materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, videos, job aids, and assessments.
- Utilize instructional design principles and adult learning theory to create effective learning experiences.
- Work with subject matter experts to gather content and ensure accuracy and relevance of learning materials.
- Manage learning projects from conception to delivery, ensuring timelines are met.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
- Network and present in the community.
Requirements:
Qualifications:·

Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning and Development, or a related field.

Master's degree preferred.

3 years of experience in instructional design, e-learning development, or related roles.

Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.·

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.·

Experience working in a corporate or organizational learning environment is a plus.
