Role Summary: The Game and Event Operations Seasonal Associate will assist in the execution of the Fiesta Bowl Parade and other various events, including the Guaranteed Rate Bowl Alumni Party, Guaranteed Rate Bowl Team Arrivals, and both Vrbo Fiesta Bowl & Guaranteed Rate Bowl Game Operations.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the coordination of the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Parade, encompassing various aspects such as operations, vendor relations, broadcast partnerships, and volunteer oversight.

Participating in Parade School, setup, and breakdown of event infrastructure, and assisting with day-of event activities.

Assist with communication and logistics of all participant groups including sponsors, the community, and internal groups.

Assist with maintaining the Parade budget and invoice processing.

Assist with coordination of band and cheer practices, game day planning, lodging, meals, and committee member / liaison oversight.

Assist with the coordination of Guaranteed Rate Bowl Team Arrivals.

Assist with the setup and breakdown of event infrastructure.

In addition to the responsibilities outlined, this role requires flexibility to adapt to evolving organizational needs, undertake task beyond those listed, and contribute to projects as they arise, ensuring the team’s objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:

Availability of additional hours during event periods, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.

An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as Sport Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications), or currently pursuing such a degree. Relevant experience in the sports industry and event management preferred.

Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat Pro, InDesign, etc.), Smartsheet and JotForm experience helpful, but not required.

Ability to adapt, multi-task and work as a team under tight deadlines.

Ability to effectively perform the listed responsibilities and tasks with or without reasonable accommodations.
