About Our Exciting Career Opportunity
We are currently seeking an energetic and engaging Training Specialist for our Human Resources & Training team. While facilitating training, the incumbent will be based out of our headquarters in Greenbelt, MD but may travel to our Bowie, Rockville or other offices. The Training Specialist takes a lead role in developing and facilitating a diverse portfolio of training topics including New Ambassador Orientation, soft-skills, regulatory compliance and other new initiatives. We are a mission-driven organization, and as such, training is at the heart of everything we do. The Training Specialist enhances the learning environment by collaborating with business partners to develop training programs designed to meet the goals and objectives of the Credit Union, through the modernization of workshops, resolving employee learning gaps, managing training records as well as training effectiveness.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required, along with at least 3 years of experience facilitating training, including the creation and delivery of e-learning. Previous financial services experience preferred, and experience creating e-learning and managing a learning management system is required.

Hands on experience developing and delivering training programs and curriculum to include facilitator and participant guides, aids, and manuals etc.is required.

A minimum of one year supervisory experience is strongly preferred, and qualified candidates must have excellent attention to detail, interpersonal, facilitation, problem-solving and analytical skills along with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Must be comfortable conducting web-based training and other on-line learning classes and must have the ability to collaborate and process improve processes and training content.

Must have the ability to travel to a variety of locations.
