All About Fire Sprinklers is seeking an experienced and motivated Fire Sprinkler Superintendent to join our team. This key role involves supervising and managing our fire sprinkler installation projects on-site, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and up to code. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in fire protection and demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
On-Site Supervision:
- Oversee daily operations and activities of fire sprinkler installation projects.
- Manage and direct a team of workers, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and fire codes.
Project Management:
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align on project goals and timelines.
- Monitor progress and provide updates to senior management.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
Quality Control:
- Ensure all installations meet company standards and fire code requirements.
- Implement best practices for fire protection installations and maintain high-quality workmanship.
- Conduct final inspections and testing of sprinkler systems.
Administrative Duties:
- Utilize company-provided iPad for documentation, reporting, and communication.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and workforce allocation.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports to the project manager.
Travel and Flexibility:
- Drive long distances across Southern California to various project sites.
- Work weekends, evenings, and late-night shifts as needed to meet project deadlines and client needs.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in fire protection, with a focus on sprinkler system installation and maintenance.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of fire protection systems and fire codes.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Great attitude with strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and senior management.
