Duties:
- Complete behavioral health assessments/social services of adult and child clients.
- Collaborate with mental health and community providers to develop treatment recommendations to meet client needs.
- Provides short-term crisis intervention as appropriate.
- Assessments are completed both in office and off site, which may include forensic locations as well as inpatient hospitals.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, or other mental health related field (required)
- Current Ohio licensure (LPC, LSW, LPCC, LISW) required.
- Must possess knowledge of DSM 5
- Have the ability to formulate treatment summaries and recommendations.
- Knowledge of the Hamilton County public mental health system
- The ability to interact sensitively with persons from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to make sound clinical decisions independently to facilitate client's immediate access to services.
- Must be organized.
