Summary
The Plant Manager is the organizational backbone of the production team at Boombox Beverage. The Plant Manager works to optimize the production facility. The Plant Manager is in charge of the details and will implement and continuously improve standardized procedures and protocols that ensure that high-quality, compliant products get out the door in a timely and cost-effective manner. The Plant Manager trains, schedules and manages the production and maintenance teams and ensures that sanitation, safety, preventative maintenance, and compliance procedures are effective and followed. The Plant Manager has wide-ranging duties and will be in charge of planning, scheduling, inventory and logistics. The Plant Manager is accountable for the development and achievement of daily, weekly and monthly strategic plans as well as continuous improvement initiatives. THE DETAILS
Product
·Oversee, coordinate, direct and measure the daily workflow of product manufacturing, equipment maintenance and sanitation
·Implement and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) requirements and ensure that standards are satisfied
·Deep understanding and experience with SQF/BRC and HAACP requirements
·Ability to build a maintenance program with experience in CMMS systems
·Monitor, refine and test KPI’s including, but not limited to, productivity/output, shrink, downtime, labor/overhead costs and total delivered cost
·Ensure that all products are made in a safe, accurate, cost-effective and timely manner in alignment with customer specifications and quality requirements
·Maintain appropriate inventory of all raw materials, packaging and finished goods and ensure all such inventory is properly stored

· Train, schedule, supervise and monitor the work activities of a production/maintenance teams

·Provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees while communicating any problems, issues or obstacles with recommended action plans
· Ensure that SOPs are followed, improved upon and taught to new hires/transfers
· Ensure employees have the right tools, knowledge and equipment to do their jobs safely and effectively
· Flexibility in hours to ensure proper training, instruction and guidance on a 24/5 operation
Strategy
·Create a production schedule and ensure that team, equipment, capabilities and inventory align with production schedule
·Establish and update production goals, including stretch goals, and production KPIs for the frontline team

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
