FACILITIES ENGINEER
Facilities Engineer needed for a manufacturing company in East Tennessee located 30 minutes south of Knoxville, TN. Starting salary will depend on experience, education, and training. This is a Direct Hire opportunity and the company offers an excellent benefits package.
Job Description:
The Facilities Engineer position involves overseeing infrastructure and equipment in a diverse facility. The Facilities Engineer role involves strategic planning, execution, and maintenance of essential systems in the facility.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Define facility and equipment specifications.

Analyze data, electrical blueprints, and reports for informed decision making.

Design and oversee the implementation of facility expansion, layout various systems and controls, CN Projects.

Evaluate operational systems and facility infrastructure to enhance operational efficiencies.

Plan and coordinate infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules and activities.

Maintain equipment through the execution of the Preventive Maintenance program.

Consult equipment manuals, schematics, electrical diagrams, and engineering personnel to efficiently troubleshoot and solve equipment problems.

Demonstrate a general understanding of Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electrical systems.

Ability to operate machinery such as forklifts, extended boom lifts, scissor lifts, and production equipment.

Ability to work at heights.

Comfortable working in multiple environments to support all production areas.

Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance is performed on all assets and conduct and document regular equipment inspections.

Adjust preventive and predictive maintenance tasks based on breakdowns and specific equipment recommendations.

Project Management - obtain competitive quotes, write and justify Capital Appropriate Request, coordinate and execute capital projects.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
Minimum Education and Work Qualifications:

B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

5+ years of experience in Facilities Engineering or a similar role in a manufacturing facility.

Proficient with AutoCAD and M.S. Office

Project Management skills

Ability to supervise multiple projects simultaneously.

Good verbal and written communication skills
