Position: Admissions Coordinator
Pay Scale: $23 - $28/hr
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for potential residents and their families, providing information about our services, amenities, and admission procedures.
- Coordinate the admission process from initial inquiry to move-in, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, insurance providers, and other stakeholders to facilitate the admission process and address any concerns or inquiries.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of insurance policies and procedures, verifying coverage and obtaining necessary authorizations as needed.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues or barriers to admission, seeking creative solutions to meet the needs of our residents and their families.
- Participate in marketing and outreach efforts to promote our facility and attract new residents.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse individuals and build rapport with residents, families, and external partners.
- Excellent multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive attitude and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and support to our residents and their families.
- Familiarity with insurance policies and procedures, including verification of coverage and obtaining authorizations.
- Previous experience in healthcare administration, admissions, or a related field preferred but not required.
