Position Summary:
The Operations Manager position is responsible for the overall performance, reporting, and delivery of service for the operations team. This will include the hiring, firing, coaching and development of team members. This role will ensure the team has proper policies and procedures identified and training is sufficient. Also that the team adheres to all policies and procedures to execute efficient and accurate functions.

Compensation is based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Retain, hire, motivate, coach, and develop team members to achieve team goals for the department as well as professional personal goals.
- Executes employee performance reviews for each team member. Establish and monitor metrics that help track and report on the success of the team. Focusing on deadlines and accuracy to determine if additional training or capacity adjustments need to be made.
- Act as a coach/player and as capacity needs arise, ensure coverage of properties processing needs are met by executing critical functions for each role on the team.
- Responsible for the department's execution of critical tasks and deadlines.
- Collaborate with necessary leaders to ensure processes are well integrated into the organization and operate efficiently.
- Ensure a strong connection is maintained between the department and community teams; May include visiting communities to nurture relationships, build trust and provide feedback as needed.
- Report on month end, Move In/Out, Notices, Evictions, and Late Fees to key stakeholders.
- Report on team metrics and performance at least on a quarterly basis to key stakeholders.
- Active member of the Rent Strategy team.
- You lead by example and walking in the shoes of the team members you lead. You build rapport by relating with people, encouraging them, and supporting their needs.
- Performs additional duties assigned by CFO or other supervisors.
- Establish and maintain a good working relationship of harmony and instill the BE ONE TEAM value with all internal and external contacts.

- Communicate with other team members, leaders, and all stakeholders within GRE Management professionally, timely, and great customer service.
Qualifications:
Special Licenses and/or Certificates:
None
Education and/or Experience:
- BA or BS degree preferred.
- At least 5 years’ experience in property management or related field preferred.
- At least 1-year supervisory experience, with demonstrating leadership skills
Computer Skills:
- Knowledge of Yardi, Microsoft Access, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Windows Operating System
Language Proficiency:
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English, in a manner sufficient to carry out duties
Work Schedule:
- The work schedule for this job description is Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm, weekends and after hours are at times required to fulfill this role successfully.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
