Position Summary
Our team seeks a highly motivated Crimmigration Paralegal with a solid background in immigration and criminal law. The ideal candidate will have experience in dealing with crimmigration cases. In this role, you will provide attorneys with invaluable assistance in case preparation, client communication, and administrative duties pertaining to crimmigration matters, playing a pivotal role in the legal process.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on immigration and criminal law issues related to crimmigration cases.
- Assist attorneys in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Prepare and file immigration forms and applications with relevant government agencies.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and documents for their cases.
- Coordinate with external parties, such as interpreters and expert witnesses, as needed.
- Manage case files and ensure all documentation is organized and up-to-date.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars.
- Stay updated on changes in immigration and criminal law regulations and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Experience
- An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, a related field, or equivalent related experience is required.
- Paralegal certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a paralegal, with a focus on crimmigration cases.
- Strong understanding of immigration and criminal law principles and procedures.
