Position Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Tax Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent leadership skills, and a keen interest in entrepreneurial ventures. You will be responsible for managing client accounts, leading a team of staff accountants, and contributing to the strategic growth of our firm. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of staff accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulations.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations to clients to optimize their financial performance.
- Assist in business development activities, including identifying new business opportunities and contributing to marketing efforts.
- Participate in the strategic planning and growth initiatives of the firm, bringing innovative ideas and entrepreneurial thinking to the table.
- Stay current with changes in accounting regulations and industry trends, ensuring the firm remains compliant and competitive.
- Embrace and leverage technology to improve efficiency and client service.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, flexibility, and innovation within the team.
- Encourage and support staff in proposing and implementing new ideas to drive the firm's success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax and audit.
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role, with strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to explore new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of the firm.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Thomson Reuters products, including UltraTax, Practice and Advance Flow is highly desirable.
- Tech-savvy with a strong understanding of how to leverage technology to improve accounting processes.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $84,533.59 - $125,000.00 per year
