Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions to clients utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Actively listen to clients' concerns, empathize with their experiences, and provide a safe and non-judgmental environment for them to explore their feelings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Monitor clients' progress and make appropriate adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and any other relevant information.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of mental health therapy through continuous professional development and training.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- Valid license/certification as a Mental Health Therapist (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker).
- Previous experience working as a Mental Health Therapist, preferably in a clinical or community-based setting.
- Strong knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently.
- Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients' experiences and challenges.
- Proficient in maintaining accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and organizational priorities.
