Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Maintenance to oversee and manage the maintenance operations of our organization. The Director of Maintenance will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of all equipment, systems, and facilities. This is a critical leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage a team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability
- Manage and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations
- Oversee the implementation of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track maintenance activities, inventory, and work orders
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to obtain necessary equipment, parts, and services
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions in a timely manner
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective practices are followed
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in maintenance management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications
- Familiarity with schematics, logic controllers, and other technical documentation
- Ability to fabricate or modify equipment as needed
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
