The Job:
This opportunity is available for our first shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Day in the life of the Embroidery Machine Operator:
- Read work order to determine type and location of embroidery.
- Use scheduling software to determine the priority of which work orders to produce.
- Selects size of hoops and color thread for each order
- Upload logos to machines using Pulse Software.
- Observe sewing and trouble shoot thread breaks, thread changes and bobbin changes.
- Determine the best material to use on different garments for sewing such as: Tear away or cut away backing white or black.
- Use embroidery hoops to hold fabric taut.
- Smooth embroidered area, using hand iron or steamer if needed
- Learn to repair defective embroidery items or fill in blanks left by embroidery machine if needed. (Stich Busting Process).
- May operate multiple automatic embroidery machines with multiple sewing heads at the same time
- Folding and packing of orders if needed.
- Assist with quality control for all items produced.
- Being able to work Overtime will be a plus during busy season.
Qualifications:
- Experienced embroidery operators able to upload designs. Along with hooping, cutting and having knowledge of backing and mesh needed for each type of material.
- Positions also available for non-experienced job seekers that can join our apprentice program to learn embroidery. Timeframe is typically 2 to 3 months of training before graduating to operator. Training will be paid.
