REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

High School Diploma / GED.

At least 1-year customer service experience preferred

Self-motivated and positive attitude

Good communication skills both verbal and written

Computer literate
-
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

Give appointments by phone and update/enter patient demographics
-
Cancel and reschedule booked appointments.
-
Place outbound calls to no-show patients for a new appointment.

Resolve issues on eMessenger; failed call report.

Process all patient transfer requests
-
Provide general information to patients regarding services, insurances accepted and sliding fee qualification
-
Screen all dental calls and transfer to the appropriate site
-
Outreach patients to schedule hospital, lab and various other follow up appointments
-
Other duties as assigned.
