Organizational Tutors (OT) is one of the premier Executive Function Tutoring organizations in the United States. Based in NYC, OT provides specialized and individualized tutoring and coaching to strengthen students’ executive functioning capacities, effectively manage complex neuropsychological profiles, and overcome social/emotional obstacles to learning. OT is seeking a highly-organized, extremely fastidious, and efficient Program Manager to oversee the development and management of Organizational Tutors’ student programming and ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the network in conjunction with the Operations Team.
Responsibilities
We expect the Program Manager to be a core member and idea contributor to the Administrative & Leadership Teams. The responsibilities of this role involve not only supporting the organization overall, but also leading the next step in the future of our systems, growth and expansion, community engagement, and programming implementation. Specifically, this role will involve tasks related to following areas:
Growth and Development
- Sample tasks include: seeking potential community-based partnership, partnerships with complimentary tutoring/educational organizations, communicating with referral sources, representing the organization at appropriate conferences, supporting expansion efforts, etc.
- School relationship management, in-school programming, PTA workshops, professional development for staff, etc.
- Overseeing development of programming associated with OT’s accessibility mission.
Development and Administration of Special Programming
- This includes but is not limited to crafting new package offerings, supporting curriculum development, collaborating with the marketing team on promotion of new and evergreen programs, supporting tutors for any tutor-led programming, managing enrollment process for new package clients and general oversight to ensure the smooth running of programs.
Joint Administrative Oversight with Operations Team
- Sample tasks include: attending quarterly strategy meetings, oversight of organization’s annual calendar, curation of tutor resources, drafting internal documents, etc.
Marketing
- Brainstorm strategy priorities with Leadership Team, communicate priorities to Marketing Coordinator, and oversee their workflow
- Review & edit social media and marketing campaigns
- Track content ideas for and copy edit internal and external newsletters
Required Qualifications
- Ability to commit to the position for a minimum of one year
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- At least three years of experience in program management, operations, administration or other related fields
- Experience with Google Workspace/Microsoft Office Suite, databases, Mailchimp, and Zoom required
- Dependable self-starter who can take direction but work independently, which includes the ability to stay on task and keep up with weekly goals in a virtual/remote work environment.

- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate degree completed or in progress
- Availability for occasional in-person meetings in NYC
- Availability for occasional company event attendance (virtual and in-person NYC) outside of standard business days and hours (for example, the company hosts two large networking and appreciation events annually and they take place on Saturday evenings).
Compensation
This is an hourly, part-time 1099 independent contractor position with an expectation of approximately 20-25 hours of work weekly with opportunity for growth. Compensation is between $35 and $40 per hour commensurate with experience.
