Job Title: Banquet Captain
Overview:
We are seeking a happy skilled Banquet Captain/ Server to join our team at Waters Edge Event Center. As a Banquet Captain, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of events and banquets. If you have that passion for hospitality, great organizational skills, self initiative and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you! The job entails weekends primarily, however, we can be flexible!
Duties:
- Oversee banquet operations from setup to breakdown, ensuring seamless execution of events
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages
- Train and supervise banquet staff to provide exceptional service to guests
- Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels
- Address any guest concerns or special requests promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with event planners and managers to meet clients' expectations and preferences
- Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations
Skills:
- Proven experience in the restaurant or hotel industry
- Culinary knowledge and understanding of food safety protocols
- Proficient in food handling techniques and best practices

- Prior experience in banquet operations is a plus
