We have been retained by our client in NW Houston to deliver a .NET Software Engineer to work onsite on a long term contract assignment, that can result in a direct hire. Our client relies on this dynamic team of developers working onsite in Northwest Houston to solve the many challenges of their evolving tech stack and the adoption of those new technologies. We’re seeking a full stack .NET software engineer ready to work with C# REST API’s, JavaScript frameworks, Microsoft Azure DevOps, and new technologies, new design patterns, new software architectures in a forward-thinking organization that rewards for performance. This person will take on the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from beginning to end of each of software project, building highly scalable, distributed .NET solutions that enable new feature sets to perform well.
Develop new features for the new and emerging business and project requirements for software. Work on new projects, from conceptualization to deployment. Ensure application performance, application uptime, maintain high standards for code quality and design.
Participate in all aspects of software development, including design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance
Work primarily in .NET, Angular, JavaScript and SQL
Collaborate to create reliable C# REST APIs
Requirements:
At least five years of experience in building large-scale software applications. Significant .NET Development experience, and experience in building web applications using JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or others, jQuery
Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs using C# and .NET
Familiar with GIT, JSON, XML, NoSql databases, JSON calls to NoSQL database,
Familiar with some Microsoft Azure DevOps, or MS Team Foundation Server (TFS) as a code repository, req’s, etc. and Powershell for automation.
Excellent debugging and optimization skills across Microsoft Stack
Experience with Visual Studio 2017 or later/newer Microsoft Visual Studio versions helpful
Experience in with unit testing, NUnit, or other Unit Test Frameworks
Experience integration testing
Interest in learning new tools, new languages, implementing workflows, and software development design patterns, software development best practices, and philosophies.
Employment Type: Contract (Contract to Hire is an option. 1+ year contract)
M-F, 40 hours per week, onsite Northwest Houston .
Hourly Rate: $80.00 to $101.00 / hour w-2 employment
