Job Overview:
Attalla Health & Rehab is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a CNA you will be responsible for performing direct resident care duties in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care-plan. Assist with promoting a compassionate, physical and psychosocial environment, as directed and under supervision by your supervisors.
Position Details:
We have availability for fulltime on 1st (7a-3p), 2nd (3p-11p), and 3rd (11p-7a). Fulltime schedules are rotating days and weekends - to be off every other weekend.
Parttime availability for 2nd (3p-11p) or 3rd (11p-7a) ONLY. Parttime requirements are at least 3 days/week + 1 weekend/month.
Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Take vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Help patients with mobility and transfers
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
- Document patient interactions and care provided in medical records
Qualifications:
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state or must within four (4) months of employment successfully complete a state-required training and competency evaluation program. Must maintain a current certification in the state throughout employment.
- Must achieve 12 hours on in-service education annually as required by federal regulation (as well as meet state requirements).
- Must have the ability to read and write in the English language and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish your job.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and to work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors.
