Job Summary: MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to join our team. The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the office, managing administrative tasks, and providing support to the team. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures
- Train and supervise office staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Oversee the maintenance of office equipment and supplies
- Handle incoming calls and correspondence, directing them to the appropriate staff members
- Maintain calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Manage office budgets and expenses
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
Requirements:
- Proven experience in office management or a similar role (preferably in a construction setting
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with AR and AP
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of calendar management tools such as Google Calendar or Outlook
- Professional phone etiquette
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to Relocate:
- Sulphur, LA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
