Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital is the largest Girl Scout council in the country. It provides Girl Scouts in grades K-12 with opportunities to learn new skills, make friends, and discover the power of youth leadership together.
An Outstanding Opportunity
We are seeking a customer-focused and data-oriented coordinator to be an integral support for our Director of Membership and the Membership department. This person will handle data updates, reports, and communication of the information to internal and external stakeholders, in addition to providing administrative support to the Director of Membership.
What Success in this Role Looks Like

Using your strong customer service and technology skills to support staff and volunteers with Girl Scout membership data and reports.

Ensuring high quality data is in database, reports, and presentations.

Supporting your coworkers and supervisor in reaching team goals, including with any needed administrative tasks.

Assisting supervisor with event registration, logistics, and set-up.
-
Monitoring activity and posting content on the Council’s internal social media network for volunteers.

Researching information and managing data.
-
Independently plan, prioritize, and organize tasks to ensure diverse workload is completed on time.
Is this you?

Known as an MS Excel “expert” while proficient in all Microsoft Office programs and can easily learn new computer programs.

Exceptional skills in research and report and presentation creation.

Exhibits a unique blend of compassion and thick skin.

Works well with a variety of people via phone, e-mail, and in person, in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent verbal skills on phone and in person.

Demonstrates concise, professional writing skills.

Self-motivated and efficient with strong time-management skills.

Strong, confident customer service skills for working with staff, volunteers, and parents.

Exercises discretion, initiative, and sound judgement.

Experience in customer relationship management systems (i.e., Salesforce) would be a bonus!
