COMPENSATION
- Annual Base Salary Range $20-28 per hour. Equivalent to $41,600 - $58,240 (assuming a 40-hour work week, 52 weeks/year)
- Commission Potential: Annual commission earnings of up to $30,000

The role of Membership Sales Advisor is crucial at Griffin Club. The primary focus is to assist the Membership Director with sales, as well as handle other administrative and operational tasks related to membership management. This position plays a vital role in ensuring efficient communication, scheduling, and customer care for both prospective and current members. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, outgoing, and have a proven track record in sales.
As a Membership Sales Advisor at Griffin Club, your role is essential in delivering an exceptional experience for current and prospective members. Your main objective will be to drive membership growth while nurturing and maintaining relationships with existing members to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and engagement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Membership Acquisition and Growth
- Utilize the Club’s CRM system to efficiently handle membership inquiries and manage the tour schedule, ensuring a streamlined prospect pipeline.
- Conduct engaging and aspirational tours of the Club, showcasing its unique offerings with persuasive communication.
- Develop personalized approaches to address the specific needs and interests of each prospect, ensuring a tailored and effective sales pitch.
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly sales targets, maintaining a minimum tour conversion rate of at least 40%.
- Deliver prompt and consistent follow-up communications, nurturing relationships and driving towards membership conversion.
- Answer inquiries comprehensively, removing barriers to the sales process and highlighting the Club’s unique value proposition to potential members.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSABILITIES
Membership Reporting and Analysis
- Work with the Accounting and Member Services Departments to upkeep membership records and ensure accurate documentation and timely processing of membership payments.
- Assist in developing membership reports as required, facilitating comprehensive record-keeping, and supporting the analysis of membership activity.
Membership Retention and Communication:
- Facilitate a welcoming and efficient onboarding process. Create detailed member profiles, deliver welcome letters, and assist with the execution of new member orientation events, ensuring a warm introduction to the Club’s community.
- Promptly respond to member questions, concerns, and feedback to drive continuous improvement in club offerings, member retention, and satisfaction.
- Support developing membership communication materials, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of information across brochures, the website, and the member portal through diligent review and timely updates.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
3 or more years of experience in sales and membership management or similar roles within luxury clubs or high-end hospitality. Experience working with sales, CRM, and negotiation. Strong attention to detail and ability to muti-task. High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred. Passionate about luxury hospitality and understanding exclusive membership cultures.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write, and effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, members, and employees. Excellent written, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Ability to follow instructions well. Capacity to collaborate and communicate professionally with management staff and fellow employees.
COMPUTER AND MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Computer skills to proficiently use Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Tools. Experience in CRM systems and membership management software. Working knowledge of various computer point-of-sale programs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Proficient in setting priorities and strategizing effectively.
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the Club.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is usually indoors, in a controlled environment, and in some cases outdoors and experiences a moderate noise level in the work environment.
