Director Operations
As the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for the complex, multi-level operational oversight of several assigned areas within both Clinical and Non-Clinical Services. Ensure the efficient operations of patient care to ensure high quality, cost effective and compassionate patient centered care. Oversee implementation of strategic and tactical business plans with focus on continued growth. Works closely with the Sr. Leadership in preparation, monitoring, management and achievement of strategic goals.
The Director of Operations will have administrative oversight of the Emergency Department, including the Trauma program, inventory management and the department's administrative team. Additionally, this leadership role will be the key leader for hospital wide programmatic initiatives including Emergency Management, Zero Harm, Patient Centered Academy, Project Administrator for Capital Projects and other key initiatives and programs on behalf of Sr. Leadership.
This is a full-time day shift position including on-call responsibilities, located at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
Preferred Criteria:

Master’s Degree in Business Administration, HealthCare Administration or related field.
Required Criteria:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, HealthCare Administration or related field.

Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive responsible experience in business planning and
-
process improvement, including five (5) years of management experience in a hospital setting.

Proven ability to direct and manage with concurrent responsibility for more than one operational.
