Overview:
The Structure Project Coordinator will play a key role in orchestrating and overseeing the successful execution of reconstruction projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality workmanship and exceptional customer satisfaction. The Structure Project Coordinator will need to build foundational relationships based on trust, listen actively and complete projects successfully. Revive Restoration is the Madison-area's longest serving locally owned and independent restoration company. We are an industry leader in restoration and reconstruction for both insurance providers and commercial properties throughout the southern Wisconsin area.
Structure Project Coordinator duties include but are not limited to the following:
Project Planning and Execution
- Collaborate with the Sr. Construction Project Manager, estimators and operations manager to plan and execute reconstruction projects and more.
- Coordinate the deployment of field technicians and resources to ensure efficient project execution.
- Monitor project progress, anticipate potential issues and take proactive regular updates on project status.
Client Communication and Relationship Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for our clients, providing regular updates on project status, timelines and work schedules.
- Foster positive and collaborative relationships with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met throughout the restoration process.
- Gather client feedback and address any concerns or requests in a timely and professional manner.
Team Coordination and Support
- Work closely with the Sr. Construction Project Manager to allocate resources, schedule work assignments and support field technicians in their day-to-day activities.
- Facilitate effective communication between team members, ensuring that project goals and requirements are clearly understood and met.
Quality Control and Compliance
- Conduct regular inspections of restoration work to ensure it meets industry standards, safety regulations and client specifications.
- Document and report any quality-related issues or non-conformities for corrective action.
Project Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including work orders, project plans, progress reports and client communication records.
- Generate comprehensive project reports to track project performance, resource utilization and client satisfaction.
Vendor and Supplier Coordination
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary materials, equipment and services for restoration projects.
- Manage relationships with external partners to ensure timely and reliable delivery of goods and services.
Emergency Response Readiness
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the company's emergency response plan, ensuring preparedness for natural disasters, fires and other emergency situations.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in project coordination, preferably in restoration, construction or related industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, team members and external partners.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling, reporting and documentation.
- Knowledge of safety regulations (Osha 10) and quality control standards applicable to restoration and construction projects.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to work in a team and independently
Physical Demands
- Comfortable working in all types of indoor and outdoor conditions.
- Ability to occasionally bend, squat or climb stairs.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- See and hear well with or without correction to avoid safety hazards to themselves and others.
