As an Information Technology Trainer, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for our team, with a specific emphasis on individuals with prior experience working within federal agencies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of federal IT systems, policies, and procedures, ensuring that our workforce is well-equipped to navigate the unique challenges and demands of the public sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver training programs tailored to the specific needs of federal agency personnel, covering a range of IT topics including cybersecurity, data management, and system integration.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps in knowledge and skills within the team, and develop targeted training solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in federal IT policies and regulations, and incorporate relevant updates into training materials.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to customize training content based on project requirements and agency-specific nuances.
- Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, leveraging a variety of instructional methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback, and make continuous improvements to enhance learning outcomes.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and support to employees as needed, addressing individual learning needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working within a federal agency in an IT capacity.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Good eye to detail and an understanding of how to incorporate the client's Branding assets to not only for compliance purposes, but also aesthetic purposes as well, while maintaining the integrity of the Brand.
- Strong knowledge of federal IT policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
- Experience in a classroom or training environment and have basic IT knowledge.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (graphic design, video creation, editing, etc.) and experience creating transcripts to accompany video materials when appropriate.
