Position: Customer Service Representative
Location: Lombard, IL
Description
Duties include building and maintaining strong customer relationships, responding to all customer inquiries and requests, providing some technical assistance to customers, proactively expediting customer orders, entering orders/quotes/credits/RMA’s, assisting outside salesforce as well as our purchasing, accounting, and shipping and receiving departments, etc., in getting problems solved. Incumbent will reference various vendor websites, ordering systems and catalogs on a daily basis. They will also be responsible for vendor relationship building. We need someone to take ownership of all of these processes. POSSESSING A TECHNICAL/MECHANICAL APTITUDE is instrumental in performing these duties.
Qualifications
Ideal candidate will have
- Three or more years of related work experience (Industrial Sales experience desirable)
- Possess math, language and reasoning ability along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (Office 365).
- Familiarity with Epicor/Prophet 21 software a plus.
- Candidate must exercise excellent interpersonal and telephone skills that include the ability to communicate accurately, effectively, and professionally with customers, vendors and fellow employees.
- Good organizational skills are a must.

Pay: $21.31 - $25.67 per hour
