GSH is currently looking to add a full time Procurement Manager located at our New York, NY office.
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing subcontracts and vendors for our project in NYC, as well as sourcing parts and equipment and negotiating pricing and terms. The successful candidate will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, locate suppliers, and manage subcontractor performance. This position is required to work closely with operations on bid pricing and develop strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
- Continue to develop preferred suppliers and subcontractor programs
- Negotiate Subcontractor pricing.
- Oversee the policies and procedures associated with the procurement process
- Ensure all subcontractors meet the requirements of GSH including insurance, quality and professionalism before utilizing them
- Ensure sites use only pre-qualified vendors and subcontractors who have agreed to the GSH Master Subcontractor Agreement
- Monitor monthly spend throughout the project
- Negotiate favorable discounts and terms with suppliers
- Work closely with operations to monitor and grade subcontractor performance
- Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Perform benchmarking analysis
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
- Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a purchasing manager
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
- Experience with negotiation and networking
- Solid judgement along with decision making skills
- BS/BA degree in supply chain managements or business administration
Preferable Experience:
- Experience with the Maximo System
- Experience with Facilities Management and/or HVAC equipment

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
