What You Will Do:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team in the global fuel industry. In this partially remote position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our fuel-related technologies and systems. As an Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our technology partners, customers and field team, liaising with our sales team on solutions and troubleshooting, and optimizing various aspects of our operations remotely. Overall, you will be a key contributor to the team building a critical link between our technology and customers, contributing to the overall success and reliability of field technology activities.
Essential Functions:
- Purchasing, deployment and management of equipment including making small repairs to testing equipment using standard hand tools
- Management and delivery of technical training to new technicians
- Oversee and assist technicians with tank and line testing equipment usage and technical requirements.
- Compile relevant data using proprietary analysis and reporting software.
- Prioritize, complete, and distribute analytical testing reports.
- Support Sales, Solutions, Customer Engagement and Business Development staff
- Communicate regularly with distributors, customers and technicians.
- Attend sales meeting providing technical support and conduct equipment demonstrations.
- Manage small engineering projects and contribute to technology development projects
- Able to work unsupervised for long periods of time.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience/Skills:
- High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Formal training in an Engineering field is essential
- fuel industry experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and organization skills including oral and written.
- Client Service Oriented – interpersonal skills with internal/external clients and coworkers.
- Attention to detail; organization, completeness and accuracy.
- Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to handle large volumes and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Comfortable working with hand tools.
- Strong personal and professional judgment
- Adaptability to respond quickly to a shifting reality and adjust initiatives and priorities.
- Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority.

Physical Requirements:
- Able to occasionally work outside in all conditions when required.
- Frequent and repetitive use of fingers, hands, and arms for tasks such as typing, writing, using hand tools, etc.
- Bending and stooping to work on fuel equipment below grade.
- Occasionally lifts office equipment, supplies, or other items of approximately 35lbs.
- Ability to travel by air, vehicle, or other means approximately 10% of the time.
- To accommodate travel needs, must be able to transport suitcase and laptop estimated at 40lbs.
- To accommodate travel needs, must be able to operate rental or personal motor vehicle.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.50 - $31.25 per hour
