Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Event Manager to join our team. The Event Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all aspects of our events, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for our guests. This is a dynamic role that requires exceptional customer service, event planning skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all logistical and operational aspects of the event, while also maintaining a strong focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute all aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, and entertainment.
- Manage event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and ensure that all expenses are in line with the allocated budget.
- Plan and manage all logistical aspects of the event, including guest services, transportation, and accommodations.
- Develop and implement effective event marketing strategies to promote the event and ensure a high level of attendance.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring that all their needs are met and that they have a memorable and enjoyable experience.
- Manage and coordinate with event staff, including volunteers and vendors.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive event timeline, ensuring that all events run smoothly and on schedule.
- Collaborate with the fundraising team to identify and pursue new opportunities for event sponsorship.
- Oversee all aspects of event planning, including budgeting, event design, and event logistics.
- Communicate effectively with the event team, guests, and vendors, ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned with event goals and objectives.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact the success of the event.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in event planning and management.
- Proven experience in customer service and hospitality.
- Strong event planning skills, including budgeting, negotiation, and event design.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in fundraising and event sponsorship.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Ability to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $300.00 per day
