Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is looking for a skilled recruiter in the Seattle-Tacoma area to oversee our recruiting efforts for our station in Seattle. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Proficient In:
Active Recruiting: Sourcing and recruiting for hourly positions and management jobs in aviation and ground handling. Stay active on job boards, social networks, and platforms for finding quality candidates, and creating and posting job requisitions and announcements.
Recruitment Strategies: Applying leading-edge recruitment principles to develop strong candidate relationships and support the recruiting team.
Candidate Sourcing: Utilizing career websites, including SAP (our internal applicant tracking system), to build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates. Actively sourcing passive candidates through market research, developing professional relationships, and referral networks.
Candidate Search Management: Implementing external sourcing strategies and assessing candidates to deliver high-quality talent to our facilities.
Interview and Evaluation: Developing interview protocols, interviewing and evaluating applicants, and extending employment offers.
Pre-employment and Onboarding: Performing pre-employment verification and facilitating the onboarding of new hires.
Collaboration: Working closely with managers to understand hiring needs and meet competitive hiring goals. Managing the full recruiting lifecycle across various open roles.
Relationship Building: Fostering high-touch relationships with a database of qualified candidates to choose from when positions open.
Innovation: Partnering with the recruiting team and managers to design, refine, and implement innovative recruitment strategies.

Responsibilities:
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Must have a positive attitude, and be self-directed, goal-oriented, and career-minded.
- Experience working in the aerospace industry is preferred but not required.
- Must have strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Must have a sense of urgency and be accountable for results.
- Must be detail-oriented with a professional phone demeanor.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Reports to work on a regular and timely basis.
- Light travel to support Regional Recruiting efforts.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2+ years of recruiting experience.
- Independent judgment and decision-making skills are required.
- Flexibility required to work weekends as needed based on business demands.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.
Preffered Skills:
- College degree preferred.
- High-volume recruiting experience.
- Familiarity with personal computer software is helpful.

- Excellent interpersonal skills, and written and oral communication skills.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Walk short distances.
- Reach above and/or below the shoulder.
- Handle/grasp documents or office equipment.
- Sit and/or stand for short or extended periods of time.
- Lift/carry/move objects, files, and documents up to 10 pounds.
- Work in an office environment using standard office equipment.
