Commercial Audiovisual Sales Executive- (Midwest or Eastern U.S.)
A Top 5 Global Audiovisual Integrator is seeking a mid-level Account Executive with experience selling technology solutions across multiple vertical markets. The successful candidate will manage assigned accounts and also bring new business to the company, enhancing the company’s reputation. This role requires excellent communication, relationship-building skills, learning, and understanding of the company’s technology offerings.
What is Commercial AV?
- Companies, local State and Federal Governments all need to stay connected these days, including the DOD and all Armed Forces. This means a LOT of video conferencing. Add in digital signage and all of the light and sounds and video in everywhere from casinos, theme parks, outdoor theatres and universities. These are design / build low voltage projects.

Primary Duties:
- Cultivate and manage sales opportunities in specified markets and designated geographical territories.
- Advise customers on solutions to meet their needs and address pain points.
- Present company offerings aligned with current and future customer needs.
- Maintain and deepen current account relationships.
- Provide input for sales projections and determine profitability.
- Maintain accurate customer information and sales activity in CRM tools.
- Present strategic account information to executive management.
- Facilitate effective client relationships and project fulfillment.
- Represent the company at trade shows, trade associations, and client meetings.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints regarding sales and service.
- Consult with department heads to plan advertising services and secure product specifications.
- Provide information to third parties to drive solution designs for specific projects.
- Attend prospecting and networking activities within assigned markets.
- Generate compelling proposals consistent with corporate standards.
- Conduct product demonstrations both on-site and off-site.
- Complete all required sales and activity reports.
- Attend sales meetings and corporate/product training sessions.
- Deliver outstanding customer support and service.
Secondary Duties:
- Collaborate with internal support teams and management on closing business opportunities.
- Participate in company-wide projects and promotions (e.g., trade shows).
Competencies:
- Energetic self-starter with a proven skill set in solution and relationship sales.
- Proven history of sales performance and strong customer relationships at the enterprise level, including confidence in presenting at the Director, VP, and C-level.
- Excellent networking, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Platform, CRM software, and technology trends relevant to assigned markets and territories.
Required Education & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in the related industry/field.
