PTA PRN
Requirements:
- Graduation from a Physical Therapy Assistant program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (CAPTE)
- Physical Therapist Assistant License issued by the State of Alabama
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
About the Job:
- Under the direction and supervision of Physical Therapists, treat patients through exercise, massage gait, balance training, education and other therapeutic interventions in accordance with State Regulation and departmental policies.
- Record the patient's progress and report the results of each treatment to the Physical Therapist.
- Communicates regularly with members of the patient care team, the patient, family members and others involved with the patient's care.
- Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.
