Our company is seeking a highly experienced Senior Instrumentation Engineer to join our team at our Sugar Land, TX office.
Job Experience:
We are looking for someone with over 10 years of experience in Instrumentation and Control System Design for Oil and Gas Refineries and Chemical Plants. Proficiency in 2D AUTOCAD, EXCEL, MicroStation, CADWORX, BlueBeam, and ACCESS is desired.

Requirements:
- Proven ability in design, time management, coordination of design teams, quality control, and technical direction.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in P&ID redlining and review, interlock schematics/motor schematics, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, Demo packages, I/O loading, and creation of Junction Boxes, Marshalling Panels, and DCS/PLC Cabinets with BOM.
- Ability to create Instrument Installation Details and generate material take-offs for estimates. Proficiency in creating conduit and cable tray drawings, including support details and sizing calculations based on applicable codes and client standards.
- Experience in Electrical low voltage applications related to instrumentation design, such as 120 VAC & 24 VDC power to instruments, 120 VAC instrument power panels, and general NEC grounding/bonding knowledge.
- Proven experience in field surveying and planning/execution of hot/cold cutovers. Must be self-motivated, have excellent client interface skills, and take accountability for work product deliverables with minimal direction.
- Fiber experience with routing and general knowledge is required.
