Full time/Part time Behavior Technicians

Wolff PAC provides ABA therapy to young clients diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. We are a locally owned pediatric center. Our medical practice is made up of the Director of Clinical Services, Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT), Behavior Technicians (BT), and administrative personnel's.
Our mission is to empower and build confidence. It is important to us that we provide a fun therapeutic environment to engage with each child including families and provide tools and skills to be successful. The focus is to apply ABA therapy in teaching kids social skills, communications, and other developmental milestones.
Registered behavior technicians and behavior technicians implement the treatment plan as prescribed by the behavior analysts. This is a position for you if you have an interest or have an educational background in behavioral science, early childhood education, social work, developmental disabilities, applied behavior analysis etc. We provide career development and training to become registered behavior technicians.
Position Responsibilities:
- Collecting data about client(s) behaviors through direct observation and interaction.
- Assisting the Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) as directed with behavior reduction assessments and skill acquisition plans.
- Facilitating group sessions.
- Communicating behavioral intervention results with BCBAs.
- Preparing materials for session and cleaning up materials after session.
- Completing medical notes and maintain documentations.
- Creating program materials for sessions.
- Review and carry the responsibilities on the Behavior Analyst Certification Board’s RBT Task List.
- Maintain active BLS or CPR certification and other profession certifications.
Requirements for the position: Training for BT is covered and provided by WolffPAC
- Associates degree and/or actively enrolled in a bachelor's program in related field
- High school diploma is acceptable with demonstrated experience in working with children and interest in the area of education, psychology, medicine, or related fields.
- Able to lift at least 30-50 lbs, move often, be on your feet etc. Essentially be ready to teach and play!
- Undergo a BCI and FBI background check.
- Complete and pass the Competency Assessment.
- Complete and pass the technician exam if you are not already a RBT
- Abide by the RBT Ethics Code

Part time applicants must be available to work either 8:00am-2:00PM or 11am-5PM (plus or minus an hour) for a minimum of 3 days per week.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
