Position Responsibilities:
- Maintains appropriate costumer/patient employee confidentiality at all times.
- Assist all costumers/patients with communication needs and questions.
- For new and existing patients, able to identify reason for visit and identify patient ongoing problems, changes to medication and orders placed.
- Able to start progress note including initial HPI, laboratory studies and other studies, and ICD/problem list for physician.
- Include location, quality, severity, duration, timing, context, precipitating/modifying factors, and associated signs and symptoms in HPI section.
- Include any details physician wants to record in progress note.
- Able to record any findings physician has for review of systems and physical exam.
- Able to prepare and print out any related patient instructions/after visit summary/lab orders, if necessary.
- Able to “pend” progress note for physician to personally review and sign.
- Able to answer the phone with proper etiquette
- Able to make addendums to progress note the request of the physician, if necessary.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Healthcare preferred
