This is an Onsite position.
Position Summary: The Process Engineer position requires a professional, organized individual with the ability to take ownership of new projects. This role requires management of multiple projects simultaneously, accuracy in daily work, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This position performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.
Qualifications (include but are not limited to):

Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or related field

2-5 years’ experience in manufacturing processes highly preferred

Ability to lead and participate in project teams

Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills

Able to work flexible hours

Must have a record of dependability and good attendance

Must be able to present yourself in a professional manner when dealing with customers and vendors.

Must be able to work well with others in coordinating multiple tasks involving several process steps
Duties (include but are not limited to):

Perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.

Work closely with Maintenance Techs to modify equipment, improve line layout, update equipment, etc.

Prepare and present plans for production process improvement and coordinate implementation, including training of affected associates.

Improve and update standard operating procedures, safety, quality control, and job-related training.

Provide leadership through performance planning using Continuous Improvement Discussions to ensure clarity of expectations and achievement of departmental targets.

Implement and lead multiple projects, this includes new model development and improvement projects.

Create or modify all documentation required for PTS Quality system to ensure requirements are met and to maintain TS certification.

Answer and implement suggestions in a timely manner.

Support manufacturing by addressing problem solving issues and theorizing improvement ideas to achieve maximum machine efficiency.

Address other issues and/or assume other responsibilities as they pertain to improving Safety, Quality, Customer Service, Cost, and Delivery.
