Lead Medical Scribe– Olympia Orthopaedic Associates

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18 - $26 per hour + 10% Lead Pay
(Pay is determined based on a scale of 0-16 years of experience)
Summary of benefits:

Lead Medical Scribe Summary:
As the Lead of the clinic Scribe team, you will be responsible for the oversight and supervision of Scribe staff, along with assisting in the everyday duties of a Medical Scribe. This would include ensuring implementation and compliance with all company policies, onboarding and training new employees, and providing guidance and counseling to all Scribe staff. Other clerical functions of the role will include maintaining timecards, processing PTO requests, creating and managing employee schedules, and troubleshooting basic computer and EMR problems.
Your goals of building and maintaining a successful team will be aided by the Clinic Administrator who is a resource for troubleshooting issues and providing support.
Lead Medical Scribe Requirements:

Familiarity with computers and the ability to type a minimum of 50 word per minute.

Ability to spell accurately and type professional documents using correct grammar and punctuation.

A basic understanding of medical terminology.

Experience in a leadership role, involving training of new employees.
Lead Medical Scribe Preferred Qualifications:

Previous Scribe or relevant medical experience.
