Responsibilities:
MUST BE BI-LINGUAL - ENGLISH/SPANISH.
- Manage all aspects of the apartment community, including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other applicable laws.
- Handle administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining accurate records.
- Conduct property tours and effectively communicate the features and benefits of the community to prospective residents.
- Negotiate lease agreements and renewals, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
- Process rental applications, conduct background checks, and verify income and rental history.
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, including inspections and security deposit refunds.
- Oversee property maintenance, including scheduling repairs, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely completion of work orders.
- Manage resident requests and resolve any issues or complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
- Perform data entry tasks to update resident information, lease agreements, and other property-related documents.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in property management OF 5 YEARS AS MANAGER REQUIRED.
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and other applicable laws.
- Excellent administrative skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proven sales skills with the ability to effectively market and lease apartments.
- Familiarity with contract negotiation and lease agreement preparation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail in maintaining accurate records and files.
- Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software is preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents, vendors, and team members.
