As a Residential Aide, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by serving our residents in a safe environment promoting long term recovery. You will partner with the Residential Aide Manager and the Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment and routine for our residents.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- HS Diploma / GED (General Equivalency Diploma)
- Associates degree preferred
- CPR / First Aid
Responsibilities:
- Check in with manager for resident report and receive any added assignment.
- Supervise resident AM/PM care.
- Supervise patient medication, document all incoming medications, and coordinate with nurse and psychiatrist/physician regarding medication compliance.
- Maintain residents’ schedule for your shift.
- Observe and assure adherence to house rules.
- Monitor all chores and work projects.
- Run didactic groups and assist residents with recreational activities that promote comfort, security, and recovery.
