Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Audiologist to join our team. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with hearing and balance disorders. You will work closely with patients to assess their needs, provide appropriate interventions, and improve their quality of life.
Duties:
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations of patients' hearing and balance
- Interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs
- Administer hearing tests, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and tympanometry, OAEs, and tinnitus matching
- Fit and dispense hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and other amplification systems
- Provide counseling to patients regarding hearing loss management, communication strategies, hearing conservation and balance treatment options
- Program hearing aids using Real Ear Measurement
-Vestibular testing & treatment with VNGs, Rotary Chair, VEMPS, ECoGs
-Pediatric testing with ABRs, Conditioned Play Audiometry, & Visual Reinforcement Audiometry
-Cochlear Implant Evaluation & CI activation and mapping
-Review Cognivue testing results of cognitive functioning
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in audiology research and technology
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Current Texas Audiology license
