Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensures that all OSHA, FDA, HACCP, and plant regulations/guidelines are being followed.
· Maintains a safe and clean working environment for all employees.
· Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices and train/coach employees as necessary regarding job expectations, equipment functionality, monitoring, company policies, etc.
· Responsible for learning how to navigate our production management system proficiently and training/coaching other employees as necessary.
· Assists with the implementation of rules and regulations as determined by upper management.
· Creates daily reports of any/all downtime, problems, and/or issues to present to the Production Manager.
· Ensures that the lines run smoothly and always have the necessary supplies based on the production schedule of the products being run.
· Works with the Maintenance team to ensure all machines are in good working order.
· Ensure that all control point checks on the line are being accurately documented by key personnel.
· Responsible for ensuring that any/all production-related documentation is accurately filled out.
· Communicates and collaborates with the Quality Assurance Supervisor to ensure all products are being safely produced.
· Responsible for making equipment adjustments as necessary.
· Responsible for pre-operational checks as necessary.
· Responsible for Food Safety.
· Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Overtime and weekends as necessary.
· Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing facility and/or an applicable degree is required.
· Experience as a production line lead in a manufacturing facility is a plus.
· Attentive to details
· Bilingual Preferred
· Knowledge of Manufacturing Management Systems
· Existing knowledge of Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices
· Proven leadership skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
