Job Summary:
We are seeking a Parts Manager to oversee the parts department at our establishment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the availability of parts to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the parts department operations
- Develop and implement strategies to increase parts sales
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits
- Train and supervise parts department staff
- Ensure timely delivery of parts to customers
- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional service
- Monitor market trends to adjust inventory levels accordingly
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail or grocery store setting
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in retail math and inventory management
- Organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
