Puget Sound Energy is looking for a Recruiter to join our team to help shape our journey to have 100% carbon-free electric supply by 2045. The first milestone will be to reduce our emissions by 30% by 2030.

As a Recruiter at PSE, you’ll collaborate with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment strategies that attract top talent from diverse backgrounds. You’ll engage in full-cycle recruiting including the creation of advertisements, pre-screening, phone-screens and negotiating offers. Depending on the needs of the business, you may also help schedule interviews - you will do it all! Whether you're working independently or with a team member, you'll help manage various programs, from apprenticeships to large-scale hiring for our call center. There will also be opportunities to attend job fairs, present at new employee orientation and more.
No day will be the same as this role will support the entire organization. Leading with curiosity to understand the business, what they do, why they do what they do and what they need to deliver is key to success in this role. You'll also need exceptional attention to detail, proactive communication, teamwork, and a sense of ownership. Our fast-paced environment requires strong organizational skills, creativity, curiosity, and a strategic mindset.
This role is hybrid and the successful candidate will be expected to be in office at least half time.

Manage self-service, full-cycle, and hybrid recruiting processes

Facilitate programs and activities on behalf of the Recruiting team

Participate in career fairs, school events, community activities, etc.

Source candidates through networking and direct outreach

Manage the employee referral program

Gather and analyze data to track staffing trends and identify improvement opportunities

Stay informed about market demographics and hiring trends

Edit job descriptions and advertise job positions externally

Utilize the applicant tracking system effectively

Educate and support hiring managers throughout the hiring process

Provide staffing assistance to internal and external customers

Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with HR Advisors

Perform other duties as assigned

BA/BS and 3 years corporate recruiting support or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience using electronic/web based recruiting tools.
-
Knowledge of recruitment processes creative/strategic talent sourcing, resume evaluation, candidate assessment and interview techniques, and matching position to best candidate.

Knowledge of employment laws related to recruitment and staffing.

Ability to quickly build relationships with hiring managers, colleagues and candidates to meet hiring objectives.

Ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Strong analytical skills to effectively and efficiently analyze a wide array of potential recruiting challenges.

Solid team player who is comfortable with collaborative processes.

Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks to resolution simultaneously.

Experience with SAP and SuccessFactors Recruiting

Experience working with represented working force and collective bargaining agreements

Familiarity with the immigration/visa process (securing, validating and maintaining work authorization status)

The pay range for this position is $67,800.00 - $96,400.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
