Job Summary:
Brain & Eye Connection Vision Clinic is seeking a dedicated Patient Services Representative to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service and administrative support in a medical office setting.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming demeanor
- Providing energetic, warm, and caring interactions with patients and their families.
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visit
- Assist with patient registration and check-in processes
- Insurance Experience is required
- Collect payments
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of medical and insurance documentation
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries in a professional manner
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care efficiently and accurately
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Experience in a optometry office or medical setting is preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems and office software
- Ability to provide excellent patient service and support in a fast-paced environment
- Strong administrative skills including medical records management and appointment scheduling
