Full Time (40 hours per week)
Monday - Friday (7:30am-4:00pm)
November/March Weekend Rotation for snow removal

SUMMARY OF POSITION
In accordance with the mission and values of The Village of St. Edward, the Maintenance Worker is responsible to perform maintenance and other related types of work; demonstrated knowledge of general maintenance repairs, but proficient knowledge in most if not all areas of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and plastering. Able to work independently with little supervision.
Willing to train.
Requirements:
High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Proficient knowledge and skill within most if not all areas: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and plastering/drywall/mudding.
Good standing driving record
Valid Ohio Driver's license
Understands and demonstrates ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions.
Demonstrated skills in building trades such as carpentry, plumbing and electrical.
Must be able to lift, push and pull 50 lbs. independently and over 75lbs. with assistance.
Possess and demonstrate the necessary dexterity to separate tools, bolts, operate equipment, buttons, levers, etc.
Able to work in a confined space.
Able to work at heightened levels, ladders, etc.
Well-lighted, well-ventilated rooms and grounds.
May work in heights and confined areas.
Must work with residents, families and public courteously and effectively.
