POSITION PURPOSE:
The Commissioning/Warranty Administrator will be responsible for establishing rapport and maintaining a long term positive working relationship with PM’s, contractors, and multiple internal divisions. Effectively interfacing with customers for commissioning and resolving any warranty related items. Also, required to maintain continuous communication through multiple platforms, office staff and their direct manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION AND BASIC DUTIES:
- Communicate and assist with multiple large projects on commissioned projects
- Working directly with Project Managers for various job needs and tasks related to commissioning
- Assist with commissioning meetings, warranty calls and any other related emails associated with job function
- Track, log, and publish updated to the job file for startup, commission, warranty documentation from the field
- Prepare start-up, commission pre-functional and final commissioning documentation
- Set up and maintain an accurate equipment/ commissioning log with photos
- Assist and maintain commissioning log under PM’s direction
- Review specifications, drawings, submittal, schematics, schedules and other documents as needed
- Communicate and update multiple platforms including but not limited to; Builder, Bluebeam & ProjectSight
- Receive and document incoming warranty related issues & emails for construction projects
- Create billable service orders for any cost associated warranty services
- Work closely with Service Dispatch to schedule all warranty service repairs. Maintain communication for status updates to multiple teammates.
- Reponsible for tracking warranty parts being ordered as well as any credit due upon replacement part return
- Pull information from multiple sources to track work orders and work being completed
- Other job duties as assigned when needed
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Basic understanding of general office procedures and record keeping functions. Knowledge of all related computer applications. Knowledge of HVAC equipment & parts.
At least four years of related work experience.
Well organized, accurate and attentive to detail. Excellent written & verbal communication and public relation abilities. Strong typing and computer application skills. Ability to assist and support others. Highly self-motivated and displays initiative. Comfortable in a high paced environment.
