Autism F.I.T.S. Academy is seeking caring, energetic and dedicated individuals to join our team as an Elementary Autism Teacher. This position is responsible for providing exemplary teaching in a safe and engaging learning environment to students on the spectrum. Teacher is responsible for delivering appropriate and functional learning to all students within the classroom while working alongside Paraprofessional staff to present curriculum.

- As a strong classroom manager, develops systems and routines for organization while building a culture that is kind, energized to learn, and willing to take risks.
- Experience and belief in project-based and multiage competency based learning.
- Experience writing and managing Individualized Education Plans
Requirements
- Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one.
- In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
- Valid Arizona Department of Education Special Education Teaching Certificate or Sub Certification
Pay:
Salary range is for Arizona Certified Special Education teachers in either Autism, Cross-Cat, or related special education certification through the Arizona Department of Education. All other certifications, teaching experience, or individuals in an education program that leads to certification will be placed on an alternative salary schedule to be considered at time of interview.
