Job Summary:
The Accounting Manager will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, manage accounting records, and ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as necessary. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including: billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and expense reports.
- Conduct thorough research on issues as they arise, manage RMA credits, and review reconciliations for accuracy.
- Execute timely payments to vendors and manage the monthly financial close-out process efficiently.
- Oversee the borrowing base calculation and ensure financial institution deadlines are met.
- Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner, including the management of commissions.
- Verify new account details in ERP Software, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or work equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with creating financial statements, general ledger functions, and bank reconciliations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
